Wow, a lot of time has gone by since I have had time to write! Becky and are are happy to proclaim that we now have received the trifecta of spiritual baptisms! Baptized by water, baptized by the holy spirit and now......baptized by fire! Praise God!!

And more kept coming...this week God surprized us with a few more new young people. Jesus brought us through a few tough battles again these past few days...thank you Lord. We continue to press forward and he continues to bless us with new stories of victory in the testimonies of the young people. Go God!!

The angels are singing tonight...three more young people gave their hearts to the Lord...this is what its all about. We cannot imagine how he will continue to work in their lives to become another walking testimony to his Grace and for his Glory.....We love you Lord.

Wow, we had an amazing evening tonight in prayer, the Spirit is moving mightily..restoring hearts to him, transforming minds, and healing relationships and marriages...please pray that he continues to work in those that come here..God is listening to the prayers of his children!!!

I am so sorry that I have not been more diligent in the updates, but I am now working full time and doing ministry work nearly every day of the week. Don’t get me wrong, I am very busy, but I have never been happier. God continues to bless and restore our young people. I am in awe of his amazing power and how he uses us! Thank you Jesus. I am unworthy and yet you use us. Go figure! Every week, more and more young people are added to the family of Christ and they receive healing transformation and HOPE! Remeber, we serve a God of Hope!
Please check back. We will be having a new blogger that is a bit more responsible than I......Stay tuned. In the interim, Please continue to pray for us and for all my "kids".

More dots! I was at AV Ford getting my car fixed so I decided to look at new Explorers. Stan, one of the sales Reps walks over and begins to talk to me. He notices my jacket and asks me if I was "The Barn Guy." and if my wife worked in real estate. Go figure! I said yes and he began to tell me about how he had met Becky at a sales conference and that she had told him all about GB. This began a wonderful witness about the transforming power of God. Isn't God amazing how he puts these little incidences in our lives to encourage us!

Dots... Today we went to Home furniture to look at new furniture as our daughter grabs some stuff on her way to school. As you may have guessed the sales rep there looks at my jacket and says...are you "The Barn Guy? Praise God. It seems he was friends of one of the youths dad. And so we are off again on another witness and encouraging testimony of Gods grace and hope! Stay tuned for more adventures of "The Barn Guy".

Went to Higher Ground last night. Third Day was awesome. God was more Awesome!Last Year we had witnessed to the local ice cream man. We had agreed to meet him after the concert, but when we went back he had already left. We were disappointed in ourselves that we had not presented the Gospel to him right away. We left the concert with a commitment to never do that again. 1 Peter 3:15...And if someone asks you about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it. So, this year we decided to check back in with our new friend: "The Ice Cream Guy". It seems that God had been working in his life in spite of our best efforts! He confided in us that he had been attending church regularly and that his life gotten dramatically better. We joked and laughed as he remembered us from last year. Praise God! Welcome home, "Ice Cream Guy".

Isn't it amazing how God shows up! How he stirs people in sudden and unexpected ways! I invited the parents of one of young people to come and pray with us. After prayer I was planning to speak with them about the Biblical alignment of the family, the proper role of the husband (to lead his family) and the wife's role to willingly agree to this design. I have to be honest, this is a difficult area for me. I often have fear when entering into this discussion. I never know how the message will be received by the parents. They can receive it and embrace it, or they can reject the message, rebuke me and not allow their children to continue to come to GB. Sometimes they get offended. This proves to be a sensitive subject that requires love and compassion. It truly requires God's blessing. So, we began to pray as a group and we invite God's presence and ask him to show us his will. We are well into the prayer time when suddenly the wife falls to her knees, face down before God and begins to cry out. "Lord, Lord, help me to allow my husband to take his proper biblical role in the family. Help me to allow him to lead." Holy Ghost bumps! Praise God! Here I was all worried about how to approach this couple with this message and God simply put it on her heart and convicted her. I guess God only needed me to invite them to pray he was going to do the rest! Later, as the husband was praying, he shouts out, "I get it. It's God's Barn. Not Jim's Barn or Becky's Barn, but God's Barn!" God is present in the Barn. God is the one who will heal you and transform you and deliver you. Go God!

Quiet week. Lots of people out of town. Stay tuned for more information on God's Barn new, "God Squad". We are excited about a small team of young people who want to serve the Lord by serving their peers. Praise the Lord! And please continue to pray for us. Every week we are seeing new young peoples hearts changed right before our eyes.

So, we are all sitting around getting ready to pray and the doorbell rings. 2 young women show up and ask if this is God's Barn and could they join us. Cool! God works even when we do not know it. Here's how: God connects the dots! Fred and I were at Sonshine with a small group from GB. A church group was behind us. We began to talk to them about God's Barn and the healing work that He was doing. So, one of the women from the concert tells her friend, who tells her friend, who tells her daughter, who was the personnel care attendant and one of the young women at the door. Praise God! We could never get the message out that well. :-) So, we welcomed them with open arms and we pray for God's healing grace upon them both. We believe that God led both of them to us! Amen & Amen!

Took the van to the Brazilian church for the big festival. What a great turn out. Hundreds of Brazilian friends and way too much food. Deos a bom! (God is good!)

Had an awesome time at Sonshine today. We had 7 young people with us for the day. We ate, and ate, and ate and then we listened to great music and awesome preaching! We had a blast. Special shout out to Kyrstal and Star. God loves you and is knocking on the door of your heart. Open it up and let him in!

Once again God connects the dots.....
Met a man named Leon at Becky's HS reunion. He is the uncle of Christine Lawson. Yep, that Christine Lawson! Clink the link for the full story: (http://www.godsbarn.org/about-us.html). Leon had never heard of God's Barn, so it was an honor and blessing to introduce him to the ministry. He was very touched to see how God had taken a very sad and painful situation and turned into a vision of hope for our young people. Please join me in praying for the family that they would come visit the "house of hope" that Christine and God built and pray that God's Barn would help them heal completely from their tragic loss.
Leon, I hope our meeting has given you some peace! May God continue to bless you.

Wow! Attended the Baptism at New Day Church. Very cool. But, what was really cool was seeing my friend Rod's entire family, wife daughter and two adult sons all being baptised at the same time. Thank you Lord for letting us be a witness to this! May all glory and honor be yours forever and ever and ever...............AMEN.
